I am having issues with Anker chargers with Apple products, they’re too picky about which port you’re plugging in. My GaN charger has one single USB-A and two USB-C ports, one port literally shows a laptop diagram on it but Macbook cannot charge with it, airpods and iphone is neither as well. They just cannot handshake. So you’re tied to single type-C and single type-A ports, two cables etc. etc. this charging stuff, even with type-C is not just plug&play

Did the designers of this device even try to think about placing the plugs in the front to get four throwing boxes? Especially since it is intended for the desktop. They were supposed to make the plugs on the sides only so that it has a neat shape and you can place it prominently so that you can benefit from the screen without destroying the desk. You are basically trying to hide the wires from the desktop and organize them. This means a deal breaker for me.
