The earbuds for working out, Bose, are trash for working out. The rubbery piece causes them to slips out when I sweat while doing an intense workout.
Oh! And the touch feature is annoying as well, any slight bit of moisture on the touch pad causes the ear bud to skip or pause my music.
You are spot on for the Bose Quietcomfort for workouts. I lift, do calisthenics, jump rope and even trail run with them and they never fatigue my ears or fall out. The one caveat is any overhead Tricep work leaves it likely you’ll touch your arm to your earbuds and pause the music.
I will always choose my pro 2’s because I have an iPhone but man those nothing earbuds 2 have to be the best looking earbuds of all time
Without the quality adjustment ear a vs ear 2 base wise and quality wise and also the bas quality comparison with quality adjusted
I have the AirPods Pro but I don’t find them comfortable at all. My ears ache after 30 minutes of wearing them.

but I need your help… I have actually an amazing headset that I enjoy so much (arctis 7 pro) but I want to switch on earbuds. I’ve tried Sony inzone buds and lately the steelseries earbuds and I’m disappointed, none of them give me almost same quality sound as my headset. I’ve tried the apple pro 2 and sound was way batter for gaming. Then I decided to buy something better than apple’s but I was going to buy denon Perl pro but… how’s latency on non gaming earbuds ? I need your help, very good sound but for gaming only… thanks for your help
It’s funny how you gave the best sounding to nothing. I am not claiming they aren’t good. But the reason yiubgave it to nothing is cause it is tuned by harman which I understand but I don’t understand how you left out samsung buds 2 pro when it is tuned by akg( harman), not to mention samsung owns harman. I personally used buds 2 pro and had amazing experience with sound quality, I can not talk for their features such as anc or ambience as best in the market but since I only ever cared about the sound and having compared to some of the best in this video including air pods 2 pro is better. Not to mention the build quality of those things are amazing since i dropped more than a 100 times in water and what not and never had any issues. I just think the best sounding earbus should have went to the buds 2 pro , unless there was other reasons why you didn’t give it .

The airpods don’t fit well in my ear
Seriously, I just want a pair that has the best sound per dollar and stays in my ear comfortably while hiking. I don’t really need any of the other features. I’m looking for a sound tuning that sits somewhere between neutral and Harman. I have been wearing a pair of Soundcore LIfe Dot 2’s for years and I bought them whilst under the impression that with that amount of eartips and wingtips included, at least 1 of them would fit nice and securely. I wasn’t wrong, but it took a while to get right. I don’t even have unusually shaped ears afaia. These days however, I’m seeing most of them don’t offer wing tips and the ones that do aren’t rated very highly in terms of comfort or sound/tuning.
I been leaning towards Galaxy Buds Pro 2 or 3. I also like the sound of the Sony WF1000MX5 and I been looking at the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro’s as well. I’m going to check out the video of the Nothing Ears (24) now. I would appreciate any suggestions.

What I hate specifically about samsung is how anti competition they are, they made 360 surround sound for samsung earbuds and actively disabled Android head tracking, my XM5 feel worse value using it with a samsung phone.

Thanks for the review! I bought the previous generation these earbuds (WF-1000XM4) in July 2022, and by February 2025, the right earbud’s battery drains much faster than the left. During calls, it only lasts about 30 minutes. This isn’t an isolated issue – search online, and you’ll find countless complaints about the same problem. For the price I paid, I expected them to last more than 2.5 years. My Sony WH-1000XM4 over-ear headphones lasted over four years, so this isn’t just wear and tear, it’s a design flaw, and Sony doesn’t seem to care. I’m highly disappointed with your products to be honest. So honestly I wouldn’t recommend the Sony earbuds at all although they’re great with their noise cancelling feature.

First off, thanks for the content. Battery life is very important for me personally, second only to sound quality, as I work ten hour shifts and need them to last all day. Kind of surprised you only touched on battery life on a few models, but at least I have a good reference to start with.

I have spent thousands on earbuds trying to find a pair that are comfortable and last a long time (im a machine operator and have an earbud in one ear for 10 hours a day) and i love Soundcore space a40s 10 hours+ on each earbud and I only have to charge the case once a week. Sound about as good as my beats studio buds after some tuning definitely not professional sound but coming from a 300+ pair of bose that kept falling out of my ear it’s a nice change that these are only 50

A very good and fair review
Nothing Ear(2) has a battery issue, with over usage for around a year the battery literally goes depleted. In my case, my left bud works only 27mins at full charge and the right one works only 1hr27mins. You end up nearly spending $120-130 and this is what you get after a year. Sounds pathetic to me. I noticed a similar case with my friend too, so this is actually a battery issue.
I have the problem that all in-ear headphones, except for the Apple AirPods 2, hurt when jogging. With every step, there is a pounding and impact in my ears. I have the same issue with over-ear headphones. Does anyone know this problem and have found a solution?
