The Enclave CineHome Pro is a 5.1 channel wireless surround sound system. All 5 speakers and the sub only need to be connected to power while the CineHub controls the whole operation. No need for ANY speaker cables.

CORRECTION: PCM is an uncompressed audio codec. From my new understanding, with support for PCM onboard, the Enclave CineHub can accept a decoded Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD Master Audio signal in PCM format and play it as high definition uncompressed audio (most Blu-ray players can decode Dolby TrueHD/DTS Master Audio and send it PCM). Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD, Master Audio, and PCM will all match the original source audio quality without any loss.

I’m just baffled that these actual home theater systems disappeared from the market during the last decade. I had a traditional system during the DVD era (DD 5.1/DTS), an awesome home theater system by LG during the Blu-ray era (Dolby TrueHD/DTS HDMA) and now I’m in the market for the object-based (Dolby Atmos/DTS:X) surround audio for my home theater. But I learned it’s only freaking soundbars these days! I have used actual real surround speakers for 20+ years now, I’m not going to go just for a freaking soundbar. Sure, there are soundbars with surround speakers. But so far I haven’t found any setup that actually fills my needs. There’s always some deal-breaking con. And it seems with this one it’s the lack of Dolby Atmos/DTS:X. Oh, dear. EDIT: Wait, what?! This thing doesn’t even support the High-Definition audio standards like Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD: Master Audio?????
Wonder if they’re planning on doing an atmos system
Not paying but do you get to keep the system?
Um, can you back up that thx claim? AFAIK they’ve sold out their name so all it is nowadays is just a licensing gimmick… Doesn’t make this review very trustworthy imo.
It still needs ugly and messy power cables…
This system is my dream in back to 2010, when i had Genius sw3600 home cinema system with Creative Soundblaster in PC .π..with a buch a cables
But yeah, 3dOB ( Atmos/ dts:x) tech took everything at another level
they should incorporate the hub in the center speaker.
Here’s a pro and con for you. I’ve had this system for almost a year.
Pro- my dog has knocked over the same speaker 3 times. The screen cover got knocked off each times because of the impact. However it snapped back on and works good as new.(moved speaker so it doesn’t happen again π
Con- center main channel is not that great. My experience is the sound is not consistent. Gotta constantly turn it up and down depending on dialogue. My room is on the large size.
Overall music sounds phenomenal!
Having an issue with sound coming through the tv. No support wither joke.
Fantastic work from from one Jonah to another π
Great video, thanks for the content. I’m just curious, why is it impossible to find big speakers for home audio. Most are maximum 8 inch woffers. It would be excellent to see a video comparing today’s speakers with older styles. Thanks π
Nice thank you. Now where to get the stands for the speakers
My wife gave me a wireless Sony head phones with both hdmi and optical. I am trying to connect it with the sound bar also to my TV, a Samsung with ARC. The sound bar is Vizio and I tried to go from the TV optical out ARC to the head phones but I don’t think it is configured correctly on the TV. Any help is apprecitated.
What speaker stands are you using? I am having difficulty finding ones that will work.
Anyone with Enclave, I love it but at times I have to reset the tv to the Arc. Then for days I cannot get it to play, Anyone can give me advice on how to make my system play?
Good review
How would you compare the Enclave Home theater system to a Sonos Arc with 2 Play one SL and a Sub?
bro your production is so good, just gotta boost that vocal volume a little bit. I need to turn up my …sound…bar… up a little to bring your vocal level equal to some other channels on youtube
DOing great! love the content!
Iβll stick on JBL 9.1. This soundbar is a monster πͺπΌ
Never buy from that company again… emailing them monthly to reset the unit, then when it went out of the warentee they stopped responding…pos company
No Atmos support is a no go.
Is this something that can be hooked up to a projector?
I lost interest half way through the video. For multi-speaker setup just use the best music speakers you can afford not some gimmicky ‘movie’ speakers because there’s no space-saving advantage over a soundbar anyway.
where did you get the stand for the speakers from?
Well this is a no for me! 1.687$ and it doesnβt even have Dolby atmos! Sorry this cost way to much for not having any of the tech.
If Enclave includes atmos up-firing channels to all speakers it could be a serious contender to Nakamichi and Sonos. (Edit: Enclave allows 3 more Subs to be added. WOW.)
How would you run this with a Roku?
Sound test would be nice. great review thoπ.
No atmos, no thanks…
Great review π, I just bought π that system a short time ago. Was a little hesitant because of no Dolby atmos. When finally π set it up and listened πΆ, all my worries went away. It sounds really good π. Very impressed π with the build quality and sound. The best compliment I can give it is it making apps that play movies in stereo or Dolby sound like I put in a Blu-ray, amazing π. So tired off hype of Dolby atmos soundbar supposedly bouncing sound of wall like snake oil π’. Keep up great work π.
That thing can’t kill a fly…
Am debating between this one and Nakamichi please advice
no sound test???
I was wondering if you can make a video Sonos versus Enclave and what do you think about both systems. I really enjoy your Channel. But I was trying to see which system is best for a movie man cave room. I appreciate it if your message me back what’s your answer. Thank you and have a nice day.
How does this system compare to the Nakamichi Shockwafe 9.2.4 Ultra and the Klipsch 1200 Atmos Sounbar in your opinion?
Also do any of them really sound or perform better with music?
I have the best LG OLED and have trouble getting my enclave to work at times. Any advice from anyone who can help me get my enclave to work again I will be happy!
So, you can make TV sound come out from this and also through a blu ray? I use discs
I bought this system an month ago and returned it immediately. Set up is super easy, but the consistency was very lacking. I spent more time trying to make this system work more than I enjoyed it. Please stay away if you dont want the headache. Absolute dogshit
Far superior, but soundbars will survive being 1/10th of the price.
Wow, wireless speakers that require a wire…
Can u hook up a 4K Tokugawa to this to work with the 4K tv as well?
Why would a sound system not come with a remote control?
Can I use this system with my Keyboard to get a better sound of the Music I play?
Does it have user defined equalizer?
How does it compare with a complete Sonos Arc + Sub + One SLs?
The solution for the up firing speakers would be get rid of the CeneHub and purchase the SoundSend by WISA, about $200 on new egg, then add two wireless speakers for the upward speakers. The SoundSend will allow 7.1 or 5.1.2 but no additional sub, from my understanding, and has Dolby Atmos support.
How many watts?
What kind of stand are you using?
Really stupid to compare that to a soundbar π
This is one of those systems where the only reviews are youtubers that got sent it for review, there are barely any non-sponsored ones π
